Dr. Alon Sitzer and Empowerment LLC is able to see patients not only in Newburyport but also into Southern New Hampshire, the North Shore and the greater Boston area.  Dr. Sitzer provides a level of service that is unprecedented in traditional medical care. This is because of his innovative direct primary care model. Direct primary care helps Dr. Sitzer provide better care by removing all the barriers that were in place when it came to caring for his patients.

Our practice welcomes all patients – no matter what kind of health plan you do or do not have. We like to say everything done within the walls of or by the practice is covered by the membership. If you need to go outside the office – like for labs, blood work, or specialists you can use your health plan like you normally would.

Direct Primary Care, or DPC, departs from traditional insurance-based models of primary care and provides patients with more direct attention from their physician when they need it. Building a relationship with your doctor is nothing revolutionary; it’s just the best path to better health.

Appointments last up to an hour, ample time to fully explain any health problems and receive the proper hands-on care. This ensures enough time to truly understand problems and explain treatments. The monthly membership provides access to Dr. Sitzer through telemedicine and secure messaging, so he can answer any questions or discuss immediate health concerns.
